Punishment for cheating in high school. A lot of students cheat. It happens in every school in America.the consequences vary on the teacher or the school rules. Dr Munson says, "The best 'punishment' is for them to acknowledge what they've done wrong, take steps to reconcile with their teacher, and learn to make better choices, dr Munson, noodle.com 2015). This would help solve the problem.

On the other hand against harsh punishments for cheating. Students sometimes might feel that the. Course their in is hard. So. They might feel dumb, or teachers could not be helping. Or giving them enough time for everybody to learn. According to Dr. Anderman, says "if the message is always 'test, test, test' than there will be more cheating. Dr Anderman, noodle.com 2015). Teachers need to help more often if kids don't get it.

My opinion on punishment for cheating. I don't think cheating should be so harsh. Students often just need help. If a teacher isn't going to help and they test a lot that's there only option. If we could improve on that maybe cheating would decrease.

  1. Maybe if a teacher isn't willing to help, then they could always go to their parents for help. If the cheating is continuous their punishments could, maybe, get progressively worse.

  2. I disagree that cheating should not be harsh because when you cheat you cheat. If you are not punished the first time, you are most likely do it again and not learn a lesson going forward.
